Two letters of recommendation are required, which could be obtained from the student's high school guidance counselor or teacher, or college professor or the church priest.

  • Length of time you have known the candidate
  • Intellectual Ability
  • Interests
  • Initiative/Leadership
  • Personality/Friendliness
  • Emotional Maturity/ Judgment
  • Sense of Responsibility
  • Experiences (community or church services)
  • Dedication
  • Challenges Overcome
  • Overall Opinion of the candidate

SSFG is grateful for any pertinent material regarding the character, integrity and personality of the applicant, but will particularly appreciate the writer's opinion of the candidate's ability to pursue their studies and to achieve a successful career
